WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!
I extend to you every good wish for a healthy and peaceful New Year filled with the Lord’s countless blessings. Christmas for us as a parish was bright and beautiful. This year the angels on the Christmas Tree in our gathering space was a reminder to all of us that Christmas is truly a time to celebrate the Birth of who is with us in all the seasons and moments of our lives bringing us from darkness to light. Also, the wreaths that were donated in memory of a loved one were also a reminder to us that Christ is our peace and lasting hope.
A special thank you to our Decorating Committee who worked hard for many hours to make sure our church was ready for us to celebrate the wonders and beauty of the season that guides our prayer, singing and praise of God. Many, many people commented how beautiful the church was decorated, especially the tree in the gathering space. A prayerful word of thanks for your financial support during Advent and Christmas.
Your stewardship goes a long way in helping us meet the demands of parish life. I thank you for your continuous support during the past year and into the future.
Last but not least, our Annual Catholic Appeal is over. I am very happy to announce that we not only met our goal of $61,986 but surpassed it. As of January 6, 2025, the total pledged and received was $80,272. Thank you! I will see you for the 2025 Annual Catholic Appeal.
Blessings, Fr. James King
